• PDF report generation.
• Data export in CSV/Excel formats.

3. User Responsibilities

When using ProdScanner, you agree to:

• Use the application solely for lawful purposes.
• Ensure the accuracy of the data entered (e.g., product names, prices, barcodes).
• Maintain regular backups of your critical data using the provided CSV/Excel export features.
• Utilize the app’s features as intended and refrain from misuse, reverse engineering, or attempting to exploit the software.

5. Permissions

To deliver full functionality, ProdScanner requires specific permissions on your device. These are used strictly for operational features and not for data collection:

• Camera: Required for scanning physical barcodes.
• Bluetooth: Required for connecting to external thermal printers.
• Internet/Network: Restricted solely to Firebase Crashlytics for reporting app crashes.
• Print Service: Required for generating and spooling printable PDF documents.

6. Generated Content & Exports

The application empowers you to generate and export content, including Barcode PDFs, CSV spreadsheets, and Excel reports.

Please Note:

• You are solely responsible for how you share, store, and handle these exported files.
• ProdScanner does not store, access, or intercept your email content, contact lists, or file attachments when you choose to share reports via third-party email apps.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including logos, designs, textual content, and software code related to ProdScanner, are the exclusive property of the developer.

You are strictly prohibited from:

• Copying, redistributing, or sub-licensing the app.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying any underlying code.
• Using the application in any manner not explicitly permitted by these terms.

8. Updates and Changes

The developer reserves the right to modify the application or these Terms of Use at any time. Modifications may be made to reflect changes in legal requirements, app features, or service updates.

Significant changes will be notified via an update posted inside the app or on this page. Continued use of ProdScanner after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

The developer shall not be held liable for:

• Loss of data resulting from device failure, user error, app uninstallation, or failure to back up data.
• Inaccuracies in product information manually entered by the user.
• Operational errors caused by third-party hardware (e.g., Bluetooth printers).
• Issues arising from outdated operating systems or incompatible hardware.

10. Termination

You are free to terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the application and ceasing all use. The developer reserves the right to restrict access or terminate support if you are found to be in violation of these Terms of Use.
